| The Pickwick Lake watershed contains parts of Hardin, Lawrence and Wayne Counties and drains 639 square miles. The watershed is home to a mixture of heavy and light industry, logging and agriculture. Pickwick Lake, maintained by TVA, is a popular recreation area for boaters and anglers. | ![]() |

Pickwick Landing was the name of an early settlement in the watershed. Its name was assigned by an early postmaster whose favorite book was The Pickwick Papers by Charles Dickens.
