TENNESSEE RIVER (SW) WATERSHED

The Tennessee River (SW) watershed includes parts of Benton, Chester, Decatur, Hardin, Humphreys, Henderson, McNairy, Perry and Wayne Counties and drains 2049 square miles. Small farms and pastures occur in the landscape; logging is common. Commercial musseling, fishing and duck hunting are exceptionally good.

Shiloh National Military Park is near Savannah, Tennessee. Shiloh was the site of one of the bloodiest battles in the Civil War (1862).
