Insurance:
All
Federal, State, and community agencies/organizations
within Tennessee require production companies
to provide a certificate of insurance prior
to filming within their jurisdiction. The
production company must maintain a minimum
liability coverage of $1 million, naming
the agency/organization and its employees
as additional insureds. In some cases a
hold harmless clause is also required. For

Certificate
of Insurance:
The
following information MUST be included on
the Certificate of Insurance...
Under
the heading Coverage or Additional/ Special
Coverage, the following language MUST
be included: “The certificate holder is
included as additional insured as respects
to general liability for a (insert) Type
of Shoot on (insert) Date”
- Under
the heading Certificate Holder, the
following language MUST be included:
State of Tennessee,
Department of (to be determined by
TFEMC),
and TN
Film, Entertainment & Music Commission

- The
certificate MUST be made out for a minimum
$1,000,000, General Liability Insurance.
When
making a request to shoot on State Property
please allow 2 weeks for paper work to
be processed through the proper channels.
All requests are approved or denied by
the Departments Commissioner. Locations
are not to be considered “nailed down”
until the contract has been signed by
governing parties.
