Continuing a commitment to government transparency, Governor Phil Bredesen today announced a new TN.gov Web site where citizens can see how tax revenues are spent. The new site is www.tn.gov/opengov.

Employees can kick the habit now. The State of Tennessee will help users quit through a variety of resources, including seminars, counseling, discounts on lozenges or patches and quit-smoking drugs covered by the pharmacy benefit plan.

American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA)
The Department of Finance and Administration makes recommendations for the state budget appropriation of federal funds through ARRA. F&A also distributes funding to support crime prevention and control, improve the criminal justice system at the local level and support victim assistance programs. In addition, the eHealth Initiative will provide guidance for health information technology incentive programs and grants.
