Edison is the State of Tennessee Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution that will streamline the State’s procurement functions including contracts, solicitations, bid responses, awards and payments. Edison will be used for all State procurement processes, including but not limited to, commodities, RFPs, RFQs, and ITBs. This new system will provide the State of Tennessee and its business partners with a much improved, more efficient means of procuring goods and services by moving from paper to a Web-based system. Through Edison, registered vendors will be able to update their company’s information online, as well as monitor the status of orders and payments in a real time environment. Additionally, registered vendors can receive email notifications about State event opportunities, and also have the ability to respond to them online.
