Vendor Training

Edison vendor training is a vital component to the success of Project Edison. Edison online training will teach vendors how to do business with the State of Tennessee using the Edison Supplier Portal.    Click here for the Vendor Summits Presentation.

The User Productivity Kit (UPK) is the training tool that Bidders and Vendors will use to learn how to use Edison. The UPK provides computer-based training in a simulated Edison environment. This means that the UPK will show you what the Edison system will look like and offer lessons that demonstrate examples of how Edison will be used.

Basic Navigation

Before beginning Edison end-user training, users will need to take the Basic Navigation UPK. This course will give a basic overview of how the system works and will teach users how to maneuver through the Edison system.  Specifically, the Basic Navigation course will guide users on how to log into the Edison system, navigate across pages and through multiple rows of data, as well as how to search pages and use the find feature.

Edison Supplier Portal Course

Before using Edison, bidders and vendors will need to take the Edison Supplier Portal course. This course will give you a basic overview of how the system works and will teach you how to maneuver through the Edison Supplier Portal.  Specifically, it will guide users on how to log into the Edison system, view your Edison Supplier “homepage”, navigate across pages, respond to events, use the search pages and use the find feature.
