2007-2008 Finance & Administration Classification/Compensation Plan

The classification/compensation plan is used to determine allowable salary ranges when hiring, and to figure promotional increases and other salary adjustments.

The classification/compensation plan (comp plan) is a listing of the officially authorized job classifications for state service. The statewide comp plan lists all job classifications for state service. The Finance and Administration departmental comp plan lists only job classifications used in this department and will include the following information:

  • Job classification title,
  • Job classification code number,
  • Minimum salary level,
  • Maximum salary level.
