Employee Suggestion Program

The Employee Suggestion Program provides employees
and retirees an opportunity for involvement in the improvement of
state government processes. Our employees who handle the day-to-day
operations of government have the very best vantage point from which
to identify problems and to offer innovative solutions. Employees
whose suggestions result in a substantial savings or improvement in
state operations and are adopted may receive cash awards based on
the amount of dollar savings the idea is expected to generate during
the first year of implementation. The maximum cash award is limited
to 10% of the first year’s savings, or $6,000, whichever is less.
