THREE FACE FELONY DRUG CHARGES IN TIPTON COUNTY

NASHVILLE, TN – Three people are charged today with prescription drug fraud in Tipton County. The Office of Inspector General (OIG) announced the arrest of three women, two from Tennessee and one from Mississippi, for fraudulently obtaining controlled substances.

Jenifer Sonderman, 29 of Covington and 33-year-old Kimberly Wright of Hernando, Mississippi, were arrested today on indictments issued in Tipton County. They are named together in six counts accusing them of fraudulently obtaining the prescription painkiller hydrocodone. According to the indictment, the offenses occurred between November of 2003 and March of this year.

In a separate unrelated indictment, Holly Noelle Goodbar, 27, of Burlison, Tennessee, faces four counts of obtaining hydrocodone by fraud. All four offenses allegedly occurred in February and March of this year.

Wright and Sonderman are currently being held in the Tipton County Correctional Facility. Goodbar is in custody in Shelby County. If convicted, the women face up to four years in prison on each count. District Attorney General Elizabeth Rice is prosecuting.
