- Maintain the physical integrity and efficiency of the State’s
data resources.
- Educate agencies about the benefits of and methods for enhancing
data quality.
- Provide the architecture and guidelines for documenting and implementing
the State’s
data resources.
- Facilitate access to and use of the State’s data resources.

- Develop and maintain documentation of the State’s data resources.
- Provide an enhanced focus on data sharing.
- Develop facilities and guidelines for managing the State’s metadata
resources.

- Support for State data warehouse initiatives including Financial
Data Warehouse and Families First Data Warehouse
- Database maintenance and enhancement for production application
systems
- Database design for projects in development
- Data analysis and modeling for projects in planning or analysis
- Data and database expertise for research projects
- Data and database facilities and tool research
- Support for Oracle Applications (11i), both in DBA and System
