Our on site dietitian, registered by American Dietetic Association and licensed by the State of Tennessee, evaluates the nutritional requirements of all meals produced for our clients. Our dietitian evaluates menus and monitors all nutritional plans for conformance to regulating agencies and oversees plant food preparation. Responsibly includes recommending dietary policies and procedures, evaluating their implementation and reporting on adherence.
Our Dietitian coordinates the development of regular seasonal cycle menus to meet age/gender appropriate dietary needs within budgetary framework and resident preferences. The dietitian calculates caloric and nutrient content of foods such as protein, sodium, vitamins and minerals to meet recommended dietary allowances. The dietitian helps to create nutritional analysis, standardized recipes,provides assistance with menu management, ordering, and billing reports, through our comprehensive CBORD software system.
The dietitian coordinates recipe development to flavor and nutritional specifications as well as helps to customize recipe items to suit individualized large scale institutional needs.
Available for consultation in cold plate rethermalization and satellite site feeding needs. As a Certified Safe Serve Instructor,associated with the National Restaurant Association, our dietitian is available for on site training to insure food safety and HACCP compliance in your food system. |
