Warranty Return Policy TELECOMMUNICATIONS

Warehouse Administration is responsible for administering the warranty program for telephones. All telephones covered by warranty are shipped to the customer with a warranty label either affixed to the equipment or included with the order. The original order (pick list) and/or the warranty label will be required in order to process a return of defective merchandise. Telephone returns will be processed in accordance with the following procedures:

Return of Defective Merchandise

  1. The customer must submit a written merchandise return request, notifying Warehouse Administration of the defective product and asking that it be picked up.

The written request must detail the problem with the merchandise and be accompanied by a copy of the original order (pick list) and the original warranty label provided with the product. It is to be submitted to the Division of Warehouse Administration, Customer Service at 6500 Centennial Boulevard, Nashville, TN 37243-8020 or faxed to 61 5-350-3078.

  2. Once documentation is received from the customer, a determination will be made as to whether the equipment is under warranty. If so, a replacement order will be keyed against the customer's account and the product will be shipped. An "Authorization for Pick Up" will be issued. The product should be returned in its original container and suitably packed to prevent further damage during shipping and handling. If not affixed to the equipment, the original warranty label must be included with product. A credit will be processed against the customer's account upon receipt of the defective merchandise.

Merchandise Picked Up by Carrier: Warehouse Administration will fax a copy of the "Authorization for Pick Up" document to the customer. Customer should retain a copy of the form, and must include a copy in the package being returned. Warehouse Administration will arrange for a carrier ta pick up the merchandise.

Merchandise Picked Up by Warehouse Administration: Arrangements will be made for the merchandise to be picked up. The driver will have a copy of the "Authorization for Pick Up", and will pick up only what is listed on the document. Both the customer and the driver must sign and date the document in the spaces provided.
