TCA 4-3-1105, Section 10:
To study the use of state-owned automobiles and motorized equipment by the state departments, offices, and agencies; and to establish rules and regulations for the housing, repair, and operation of all units.

MVM Policy No. 321.06-01:
To establish procedures for the purchase of
motorized vehicles and equipment by departments and agencies of the Executive Branch of
state government, and to establish guidelines to assure the efficient and economical
utilization of state-owned motorized vehicles and equipment.

MVM Policy No. 321.06-02:
To establish procedures for the utilization
of motor vehicles assigned to departments and agencies of the Executive Branch of state
government. To establish guidelines to assure the efficient and economical utilization of
state-owned motor vehicles.

MVM Policy No. 321.06-03:
To establish procedures for the dispatch
fleet maintained by the Motor Vehicle Management Division for use by employees of state
departments and agencies.

MVM Policy No. 321.06-04:
To establish procedures for obtaining a
"State of Tennessee Commercial Gasoline Credit Card" and to establish guidelines
for its use.

To establish procedures and guidelines for the assignment and operation of all state vehicles.

To establish procedures for the use of the
vehicle fleet maintained by the Motor Vehicle Management Division for loan to

To establish the policies and procedures,
pursuant to Chapter 800 of the Public Acts of 1976, governing the identification of motor
vehicles owned and/or operated by the State of Tennessee.
