The Operations Service Unit of Property Services Management is responsible for the following:
Property Services Management has 207 employee positions statewide. Our staff is composed of: Administrative Secretaries, Administrative Assistants, Building Maintenance Workers, Grounds Workers, Custodial Workers, Heating and Refrigeration Mechanics, Maintenance Electricians, Facility Supervisors, etc. The Department of Personnel has a listing of vacancies by job titles, descriptions, minimum qualifications, testing methods, and salary ranges.
Responsible for approving expenditures, as well as monitoring and auditing monthly and year-to-date expenditures in allotment codes 501.01 and 501.02 to insure compliance with yearly budget for maintenance and approved projects for each complex.
The goal of Tenant Support Services is to provide support to the management, facility staff and tenants of facilities maintained and operated by the department. Services include technical support through in-house staff and consultant contracts, design, bidding and coordination of maintenance and tenant requested projects, capital budget preparation, submittal and administration of special projects as assigned by the Commissioner of General Services.
