The mission of the Purchasing Division is to provide an effective
and efficient centralized procurement process, while obtaining quality goods and services
for use by all operating state agencies and departments in a timely and economical
manner to assist our customers in performing their mission.

Services Include:
- Processing agency one-time purchase orders in excess of $5,000
- Establishing statewide and agency term contracts
- Training State procurement personnel in purchasing procedures and Tennessee Online
Purchasing System (TOPS) usage
- Assisting diversity companies in registration and submission of bids
- Serving as overview for agency adherence to procurement policy
- Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Department of General Services
- Resolution of vendor complaints
