To get a complete copy of a solicitation and be placed on the mailing list for any amendments or re-bid information, please call the Bid Room at (615) 741-0014 or e-mail your request to Purchasing Division, Tennessee Department of General Services

"SOLICITATION:" This is the solicitation number and title. Any communication with the Purchasing Division, Department of General Services regarding solicitations must reference this number.
"TYPE:" This is the type of solicitation. Most solicitations issued by the State of Tennessee are Invitations to Bid.
"CONTACT:" This includes the name of the purchasing agency, usually the Department of General Services, Purchasing Division, the buyer responsible for this solicitation, and the buyer's phone number.
"COMMODITY:" This is the Tennessee Commodity Code class, subclass and item number followed by a brief description of the commodity. Vendors who wish to be included on bid lists should register on their application forms for these commodity classes and subclasses.

Invitations to Bid cannot currently be sent electronically. When emailing a request for a copy of an Invitation to Bid, please be sure to include the following information: Your company name, FEIN or social security number, complete mailing address and phone number. Invitations to Bid will have to be mailed to you.
