Bedford County Medical Center has appealed the HSDA's 6/22/05 issuance of a CON for the addition of one operating room to the existing ASTC and the removal of the condition that had limited the surgical procedures to ear, nose, throat, and plastic surgery. The project is located in Bedford County.
An agreement has been reached for a more limited CON without the removal of the condition imposed in the original CON, and it is expected that an order will be submitted to the ALJ soon to resolve the matter.
