Recovery and Reinvestment Act

Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), The Tennessee Department of Human Services administers several programs that will benefit from this investment, including the Weatherization, Food Stamp, Child Care programs and TANF Recovery

Child Support Information

The child support schedule displays the dollar amount of child support obligations corresponding to various levels of combined adjusted gross income of the children’s parents and the number of children for whom a child support order is being established or modified. Child Support Calculator

Human Services At A Glance

Adult and Family Services: Includes Food Stamps (SNAP), Families First (TANF), TennCare/Medicaid, APS, Child Care Licensing and Weatherization.
Child Support Services: Includes enforcing child support orders, establish paternity and establish or modify child support orders.
Rehabilitation Services: Includes vocational rehabilitation programs, disability determination and blind, deaf and hard of hearing services.
Appeals and Hearings: Accepts appeals and conducts fair hearings for DHS clients.
Office of the General Counsel: Provides legal advice on DHS programs, prepares agency legislation and rules.
Office of Inspector General: Includes oversight of Program Review, Internal Audit, and Quality Control Investigations.
Rules and Regulations: The rules and regulations for the programs administered by DHS.
