PROCEDURES

To be considered valid, the appeal must be
filed no later than ninety (90) calendar days following the effective date of
the negative action causing the appeal.
In order for benefits to continue during the appeal period, the appeal
must be filed within 10 days of the effective date of the negative action. The parent must be informed that if the negative action is upheld,
then any continued child care service would be charged to them as an
overpayment and subject to recovery.
This recovery does not apply to any child care received during the
10-day advance notice period. Individuals must continue to meet their work requirements and pay any
assessed parent co-pay fees during the appeal process to receive continued
child care service. |
