9.7	IMPLEMENTATION AND ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES	Table of Contents
	Brochures publicizing the Teen Parent Assistance for Child Care program have been distributed to all middle and high schools in Tennessee. Prospective clients will be directed to call the Child Care Resource and Referral (CCRR) hotline number (1-866-827-3372). CCRR staff may refer prospective clients to their local DHS office. Verification that a prospective client is a teen parent may be obtained via telephone contact with a school representative or face-to-face interview. Telephone contact verification must be documented in case history. A face-to-face interview is not required. Upon being determined potentially eligible for child care assistance, clients have the option to mail or fax an application. Teen parents can only choose a licensed provider.
