WHEN A FOOD STAMP HOUSEHOLD MOVES FROM ONE COUNTY TO COUNTY |

Food Stamp recipients may transfer from county to county within the state and remain eligible for benefits without interruption. When the household reports to either the new or old county that they are about to move, unless they have a valid address in the new county, do not transfer the case. Tell the recipient to contact either county when they have a valid address in the new county; transfer the case when the address is provided. |
