Recreation Therapy
The TRC Recreation Program is designed to provide activities to enrich attitudes, interests and leisure time experiences. Recreation provides a wide variety of therapeutic activities that include: bowling, gardening, music, volleyball, basketball, table games, softball, archery, fishing, fitness, arts and crafts, and dinner outings.

Other activities include dances, shopping trips, movies, tournaments and numerous community events. Specialized recreational programs are available for persons with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, visual and hearing impairments. A recreation therapy program is available for clients who can benefit from a more individualized leisure program. This includes assessment, exploration, neuromuscular development, and/or psychosocial development.
