Labor & Workforce Development Teams with Army
National Guard to Assist Deployed Soldiers’ Families
NASHVILLE
- The International Association of Workforce Professionals will help give Christmas dinner to approximately 1,000 Tennessee National Guard soldiers’ families in Middle Tennessee. Several trucks will be loaded at the Army National Guard hangar, building 682 at Smyrna Airport. The food will be delivered to seven National Guard Armories across middle Tennessee.
Donations will include 3,000 cases of frozen food, turkeys and more. Labor & Workforce Development Commissioner James Neeley and Major General Gus L. Hargett will be on hand at 10:00 am CST to help load trucks and hand out the food to families at the National Guard Armory in Smyrna.
