NASHVILLE - Tennessee's State Workforce Development Board will meet on Thursday, and Friday, December 2 & 3, 2004, at the Radisson Summit Hill, located at 401 West Summit Hill Drive in Knoxville, Tennessee. Thursday, the meeting will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Friday the meeting will continue from 8:00 a.m. to noon.

The Workforce Development Board oversees the state's Workforce Investment Act program delivered through the Tennessee Career Center System. Services provided include a wide range of job training and employment services for adults, youth, and dislocated workers. Topics of discussion will include Incumbent Worker Program, Jobs for Tennessee Graduates, Career Center Poster requirements, and Strategic Planning.

Individuals with disabilities who wish to participate in the meeting should contact the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development to discuss auxiliary aids or other services needed to facilitate such participation. This may be done in person, by writing, telephone, or other means and should be made no fewer than five days prior to the scheduled meeting date to allow time to provide such aid or service.
