NASHVILLE - Wilson county veterans and employers have a new contact at the Middle Tennessee Career Center in Wilson County. Patti Whitmore has been named veterans outreach specialist. Patti knows the strong work ethic of veterans and has experienced firsthand the transition from military to civilian life. She served more than 20 years in the armed forces and brings that knowledge with her to her new position.

Veterans from all branches of the military, who are re-entering the civilian workforce, who want to change jobs, or who are just looking for work, may contact Patti for guidance and information about career opportunities. Employers who are looking for experienced, skilled workers also may contact Patti.
