If you are an injured employee in Tennessee, the Division of Workers’ Compensation is here to help you! It doesn’t usually matter whether the accident causing your injury was your fault, another worker’s fault or even your employer’s fault. If you cannot work because of a workplace injury, you may be entitled to benefits. They may include wage replacement benefits—though not the same amount that you received while working. They may also include medical treatment, too. Please know that you are expected to do everything you can do to get healthy and to return to work when your doctor says you can.
