Tennessee Access to Recovery II
Tennessee’s Access to Recovery II program makes an important and innovative contribution to our treatment services system. TN-ATR II creates an array of recovery services with enhanced referral collaboration within the criminal justice system. The program allows individuals to achieve and maintain abstinence by offering consumer choice through a voucher system, increasing service capacity, expanding a statewide culturally competent provider network of approximately 90 programs and organizations to include faith-based and community-based agencies, and improving access to clinical treatment and recovery support services which include programmatic restructuring from a broker case management model to a strengths-based case management model.
