Finance and Systems
Finance and Systems is responsible for developing the Division’s appropriation request
and tracking all related expenditures, for computer system support and
development for the Division and State-contracted substance abuse services
providers, and for collecting data from those facilities holding contracts
with the Division. It accomplishes these responsibilities through
three sections: Fiscal Administration, Systems,
and Data Processing Operations.
FISCAL ADMINISTRATION
Fiscal administration is responsible for
initiating contracts with substance abuse providers, allocating funds to
contract agencies, ensuring funds are reported in conformity with State
reporting standards, and issuing payments based on data received.
SYSTEMS
Systems is responsible for supporting client service data
collection and processing, financial data processing and reporting,
management reporting, services evaluation efforts, federal reporting to the
national Drug and Alcohol Services Information Systems (DASIS), and
additional reporting by request.
DATA PROCESSING OPERATIONS
Data processing operations support the Admis PC data system
which allows contracted service providers to confidentially report each
client receiving services. This data is received each month from
providers, loaded into the database, and processed daily to produce
management and financial reports. These reports are used to disburse funds
and monitor contract compliance.
All reporting complies with federal and state client confidentiality
regulations. Request for client data reports should be directed to Finance and Systems. |
