MMHI Board of Trustees

Memphis Mental Health Institute has an established Board of Trustees which advises the Chief Executive Officer concerning the formulation of general policies to be followed in the operation of the facility, recommends to TMHDD appropriate legislation for resources and other concerns for the facility, publicizes the condition of the facility and its needs, and reports annually to the Commissioner in conjunction with the facility’s Chief Executive Officer. Members are appointed by the Commissioner and serve terms of three years.
