Division of Clinical Leadership
MISSION
The mission of TDMH’s Division of Clinical Leadership is to establish and maintain a mental health system that is high quality and contains appropriate clinical care within a continuum of services.
The Division of Clinical Leadership:
- Provides ongoing education for healthcare providers, service recipients and their families
- Promotes public awareness to eliminate the stigma of mental illness
- Maintains oversight of general mental health crisis services and helps ensure the availability of a continuum of crisis services for all Tennesseans
- Provides current information on mental health provider availability and appropriate oversight of research involving service recipients
