Clinical Oversight
(TennCare and RMHIs)

OCL has responsibility for development and revision of clinical oversight of the current clinical treatment based on the “Best Practice Guidelines.”

This includes sentinel events, formularies and assisting with the development of all standardized medical policies. The OCL will provide consultation with the development of a systemwide electronic medical records for the RMHIs. OCL also visits the RMHIs as needed to review implementation and ongoing compliance of clinical policies. OCL provides consultation to clinical directors on clinical issues on an ongoing basis.
