Within the Division of Recovery Services & Planning, Support Services is responsible for overseeing the creation, implementation, regulation and continuation of consumer-focused programs that assist individuals diagnosed with mental illness and co-occurring disorders in living successfully in their communities of choice.

Support services include peer support centers and advocacy activities through the Tennessee Mental Health Consumers' Association and the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill of Tennessee (NAMI).
