METHAMPHETAMINE EVIDENCE-BASED TREATMENT & HEALING (METH)

SUMMARY: The METH grant will use support services, community education, and direct services to expand access and treatment for methamphetamine addiction for 180 individuals and their families in rural counties in Tennessee: Coffee, Franklin, Grundy, Lincoln, Moore, and Warren counties.

SUICIDE: TENNESSEE LIVES COUNT (TLC)

GRANT AMOUNT: $400,000 (YEAR 2)
PARTNERS: CENTERSTONE AND MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF MIDDLE TN (TSPN)

SUMMARY: The goal of the TLC grant is to reduce suicide/attempts for youth (ages10-24) by training persons in lethality assessment, needs assessment, policy recommendations, stigma reduction, university curricula enhancement, and to develop a plan for sustainability.  This program hopes to reach 180,000 high-risk youth.

MULE TOWN FAMILY NETWORK: SYSTEM OF CARE FOR MAURY COUNTY (MTFN)

SUMMARY: The goal of the MTFN grant is to provide a coordinated effort of state, county, local agencies, individuals, youth, and family members, using wraparound services for 440 children with SED and their families in Maury County.

OLDER ADULTS TREATMENT SERVICES (OATS)

GRANT AMOUNT: $500,000 (YEAR 3)

SUMMARY: The OATS grant will provide a comprehensive continuum of treatment that is culturally competent and flexible for adults aged 50 and over who are abusing alcohol or other drugs, including prescription and over-the-counter medication in the Greater Nashville Area.
