Tennessee Suicide Prevention Strategies

Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network

This network is an independent, non-partisan, voluntary group of individuals, organizations and agencies (public and private) who promote community awareness of the signs of suicide and intervention strategies for the prevention of suicide.

The network’s goals are to coordinate and implement the Tennessee Suicide Prevention Strategy, based on the Surgeon General’s “Call to Action to Prevent Suicide.”

Regional Meetings
Periodic meetings of the Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network are held around the State. The Network works to eliminate the stigma of suicide, educate the community about the warning signs of suicide, and ultimately reduce the rate of suicide in our state.

The Network goals are to coordinate and implement the Tennessee Suicide Prevention Strategy, based on the U.S. Surgeon General’s “Call to Action to Prevent Suicide.”
