TDOS Launches New Survey to Measure Customer Satisfaction
July 6, 2006
NASHVILLE, Tenn., --- The Tennessee Department of Safety wants to know how they're doing in the area of customer service. The department launched two new online customer satisfaction surveys today that will provide the public a forum to share their experiences and recommendations with the department. Officials hope to gather valuable information that can be used to further improve the Department. "The Department of Safety is a customer service-based department so customer satisfaction is a top priority," stated Interim Department of Safety Commissioner Gerald Nicely. "We are in the process of making many changes at the Department that focus on how we deliver our services to customers. Feedback from patrons will be a valuable asset to our divisions." The surveys were created by the Department of Safety's Communications Office, Office of Strategic Planning, and Research, Planning, and Development Division, and TennesseeAnytime to offer customers the opportunity to return valuable input that will help the department continue customer service improvements. The surveys are another step in implementing suggestions made by the FedEx Driver License study and Kroll Groups analysis of the Tennessee Highway Patrol. One survey is devoted to Driver License Issuance while the second survey is devoted to the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Both surveys address everything from employee demeanor to facility amiability. Results will be gathered frequently and sent to the appropriate divisions for review. Suggestions will allow officials to see the customer's point of view when trying to improve services in the future. Both surveys are available at the Department of Safety homepage as well as at the following links: http://www.tnanytime.org/surveys/safety/dlstation.html http://www.tnanytime.org/surveys/safety/thp.html The Tennessee Department of Safety ( www.tennessee.gov/safety ) is responsible for ensuring the safety and general welfare of the traveling public.
