AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4, Chapter 29 and Title 68, Chapter 126, relative to the modular building units advisory council.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-29-219(a), is amended by deleting item (33) in its entirety.

SECTION 2. (a) Notwithstanding the provisions of Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-29-112, or any other law to the contrary, the modular building units advisory council shall terminate and shall cease all activities upon the effective date of this act.

(b) Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 68-126-320 is amended by deleting such section in its entirety.

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
