AN ACT to urge the Department of Transportation to widen a segment of Lebanon Road in Davidson County to five lanes.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, the Tennessee Department of Transportation is hereby strongly urged to conduct a feasibility study relative to the widening to five lanes, including a turning lane as the middle lane, of that segment of Lebanon Road in Davidson County from Hermitage Avenue to Briley Parkway.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
