AN ACT To amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 8-21-901, relative to daily fee of court officers.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 8-21-901(a)(8)(B)(iii), is amended by deleting the language "sixty-five dollars ($65.00)" and substituting instead the language "eighty-five dollars ($85.00)".

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 1998, the public welfare requiring it.
