AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4, Chapter 11, Part 5, relative to the Tennessee Wars Commission.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-11-501, is amended by deleting the language "American Revolution" and substituting instead the language "French and Indian War, American Revolution, War of 1812, U.S.-Mexican War,".

SECTION 2. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-11-502, is amended by deleting the language "American Revolution" from subsection (a)(1) and substituting instead the language "French and Indian War, American Revolution, War of 1812, U.S.-Mexican War,"

SECTION 3. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-11-502, is further amended by deleting the language "American Revolution" in subsection (a)(8) and substituting instead the language "French and Indian War, American Revolution, War of 1812, U.S.-Mexican War,"

SECTION 4. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
