AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 37-1-503, relative to the council of juvenile and family court judges.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 37-1-503, is amended by deleting the words "an executive secretary and such other personnel" and by substituting instead the words and punctuation "an executive secretary, a staff attorney and such other personnel".

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 1998, the public welfare requiring it.

Pursuant to Article III, Section 18, of the Constitution of the State of Tennessee, the Governor had House Bill No. 3009 in his possession longer than ten (10) days, so therefore the bill becomes law without the Governor's signature.
