AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 67, Chapter 6, Parts 1 and 2, relative to farm equipment and machinery.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 67-6-102, subsection (8), is amended by inserting between the word and punctuation "purposes "and the word "and" in the second sentence thereof, the following new language:

equipment used exclusively for harvesting timber,

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect on July 1, 1998, the public welfare requiring it.
