AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 68, Chapter 101, relative to electric safety codes.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 68-101-104(a), is amended by deleting the language "August 3, 1992" and substituting instead the language "August 1, 1996".

SECTION 2. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 68-101-104(c), is amended by deleting the language "July 10, 1992" and substituting instead the language "August 1, 1996".

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
