AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 67-1-403, relative to compensation for members of the County Board of Equalization.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 67-1-403(d), is amended by deleting the second sentence and substituting instead the following:

The county legislative body shall by resolution establish the compensation of the members and the chair of the County Board of Equalization.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
