AN ACT
To amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4, Chapter 32, relative to labor studies programs.BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-32-101(a), is amended by deleting from the first sentence the words "for labor" and by substituting instead the words "for labor-management" and further amending the first sentence by deleting the words "between labor" and by substituting instead the words "between labor-management".
Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-32-101(b), is amended in subdivision (2)(A) by deleting the word "Labor" and by substituting instead the words "Labor-management" and further amending subdivision (2)(C) by deleting the words "labor studies" and by substituting instead the words "labor-management studies".
SECTION 2. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-32-103(a), is amended by inserting the following new item (6):
(6) One (1) representative to be selected and appointed by the representatives set forth in items (1) through (5) above and such representative shall be a person from business having a minimum of five (5) years of experience in labor-management relations;
SECTION 3. This act shall take effect on becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
