AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4, Chapter 29 and Title 43, Chapter 14, relative to the State Soil Conservation Committee.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-29-218(a), is amended by deleting item (13) in its entirety.

SECTION 2. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-29-220(a), is amended by adding a new item thereto, as follows:

( ) State Soil Conservation Committee, created by Section 43-14-203;

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1997, the public welfare requiring it.
