AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 39-13-605, relative to unlawful photographing.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:

SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 39-13-605, is amended by deleting from subsection (d)(1) the language "Class B misdemeanor" and substituting instead the language "Class A misdemeanor".

SECTION 2. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 39-13-605, is further amended by deleting from subsection (d)(2) the language "Class A misdemeanor" and substituting instead the language "Class E felony".

SECTION 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1997, the public welfare requiring it.
