NASHVILLE – Special Agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, working alongside the Metro Nashville Police Department, have arrested and charged a Hermitage man accused of using online advertisements to solicit underage minors for sex.

On December 15th, while working in an undercover capacity, a TBI Agent responded to an online advertisement posted by James Robert Robinson. During the course of their conversation, Robinson agreed to meet the Agent, whom he believed to be a 13-year-old girl, at a location in Antioch for the purpose of sex.

On Saturday, Robinson arrived to the location on Bell Road, where the 39-year-old was arrested by TBI Agents and officers from the Metro Nashville Police Department and charged with one count of Aggravated Solicitation of a Minor to Commit Aggravated Statutory Rape. He was subsequently booked into the Davidson County Jail on $25,000 bond.
