Juvenile Justice Funding

The commission awards grants to agencies for services for at-risk youth to prevent delinquency and for intervention to ensure that youth who commit offenses receive appropriate services. Program services must be evidence-based and consistent with the goal of preserving families and providing services in the least restrictive, safe enviornment.

Information about applying for these Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention grants is below.

Agencies can apply for 2014 Federal Formula Grant funding to provide services addressing three program categories: Disproportionate Minority Contact, Gender-Specific Services and System Improvement. Requirements for each category are included in the specific application available at the links above.

The Federal Formula Grant face sheet, indicating which program category planned, and Federal Formula budget detail form must be filled out, printed and submitted with other required materials.

Grant applications for 2014 must be received by 4:30 p.m. Nov. 14.
