Middle Tennessee Weekly Construction Lane Closures, August 10-16, 2017

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from SR 6 to the I-40 Westbound Ramps and Bridge Rehab on I-24 Over Spring Street and Oldham Street (M.M. 47 – 48)

  • Nightly, 8PM - 5AM (excluding Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on Spring Street for construction of the bents. One lane will remain open at all times.
  • Nightly (excluding weekends), 8PM - 5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound to perform layout and drilling at the abutment. One lane will remain open.

 

DAVIDSON/WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing from the Williamson County Line to South of Armory Drive

  • Nightly, 8PM through 5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions (including exit and entrance ramps) from the Williamson County line (M.M. 74) to south of Harding Place direction. The exit and entrance ramps will be temporarily closed for approximately 2 hours at a time on the Harding Place ramps and Old Hickory Boulevard ramps. Signage will be in place.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 65 (Whites Creek Pike) from W Trinity Lane to Green Lane to Lloyd Road

  • Weekdays starting Monday, August 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 65 (Whites Creek Pike) in both directions for milling operations. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 65 over the Earthman Fork Creek near Old Hickory Boulevard/Fontanel Mansion (L.M. 6.02 – 6.08)

  • From now through September 2017, There will be a lane closure on SR 65 for bridge work. The bridge traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic signals.

 

HICKMAN COUNTY, Resurfacing of I-40 from Humphreys County Line to the Bridge Over Sugar Creek (M.M. 148 – 152)

  • Nightly, 8PM through 5AM, There will be a temporary lane closure on I-40 in both directions to perform milling and paving operations.  

 

MACON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 52 at Brattontown Circle and Extending to West of Red Boiling Springs Road (L.M. 9.89 – 14.65)

  • Daily, 9AM through 3PM, There will be a temporary lane closure on SR 52 for paving operations. One lane will remain open.

 

MAURY COUNTY, On-Call Concrete Pavement Repair on SR 396 (Saturn Parkway)_

  • Daily, 4AM through 8PM, There will be traffic shifts on the ramps at SR 396 (Saturn Parkway) and Kedron Road to saw and replace concrete. Traffic lanes will not be affected.
  • Thursday, August 10, 9AM through 3PM, There will be a right lane closure on SR 396 (Saturn Parkway) in both directions to saw and replace concrete. One lane will remain open.

 

MAURY COUNTY, The Repair Of Bridges on SR 246 Over Craters Creek & Mayhorn Branch (L.M. 1.07-2.34)

  • Wednesday, August 15 and Thursday, August 16, There will be a lane closure on SR 246 for resurfacing. Traffic will be controlled by traffic signals

 

MAURY COUNTY, The Resurfacing On SR 245 From Giles County Line (L.M. 0.00) To Neeley Hollow Road (L.M. 6.33)

  • Starting Monday, August 14 and continuing daily, 7AM-4PM, There will be lane closures on SR 245 for degrassing and milling.

 

MAURY COUNTY, The Construction of A New Interchange on SR 6 (US 43) at SR 166 in Mount Pleasant (L.M. 8.0-9.0)

  • Daily, There will be a lane closure on SR 6 in both directions for re-striping the lane widths and to place barrier rail.

 

MAURY COUNTY, The Resurfacing On SR 99 From Lewis County Line (LM 0.00) To East Of Cecil Farm Road (L.M. 6.00)

  • Wednesday, August 16, 7AM-4PM, There will be lane closures on SR 99 for degrassing.

 

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Widening/Extension of SR 13/Oakland Drive Near Cracker Barrel Drive to International Boulevard and Solar Way for Hankook Tire ( L.M. 26.82 – 28.16)

  • From now through Friday, August 11, There will be a road closure on Oakland Road. A detour will be in pace at Solar Way and adjacent streets.

 

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 13 over the Cumberland River in Clarksville (L.M. 17.40 – 17.70)

  • Friday, August 11, 8PM through Monday, August 14, 5AM,  There will be a lane closure on SR 13 on the bridge over the Cumberland River for the replacement of bridge end joints and paving operations. Temporary traffic signals will be in place.

 

ROBERTSON COUNTY, Resurfacing/Asphalt Repair of I-65 from the Sumner County Line to South of he Bridge over Honey Run Creek (M.M. 103.5 – 120)

  • Nightly, 8PM through 5AM (excluding weekends), There will be a temporary lane closure on I-65 in both directions to perform milling and paving operations as well as full depth asphalt repair operations.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, The Resurfacing of I-24 from East of the CSX Railroad Bridge ( M.M. 82) to East of Epps Mill Road (M.M. 90)

  • Wednesday, August 16, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 in both directions from east of bridge over CSX Railroad to East of Epps Mill Road for pavement marking operations. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 1 over Harts Branch (ABC)

  • Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 1 at the bridge over Harts Branch, in each direction for the construction of the overhang, parapet wall, and sidewalk. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of Turning Lanes on SR 96 at the I-24 Westbound Exit Ramp (Exit 78-B) (L.M. 9.52 – L.M. 9.68)

  • Daily, 9AM through 3:30PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 96 eastbound between I-24 and N. Thompson Lane) as well on the I-24 westbound exit ramp for grading operations in the median and right shoulder.

 

SMITH COUNTY, Rockfall Mitigation on SR 25 (L.M. 8.5)

SUMNER COUNTY, Construction of Retaining Walls on ST 109 from Odom’s Bend to the SR 109 Bypass of South of Gallatin (L.M. 0.5 – 1.65)

  • Daily, 9AM through 3PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 109 for blasting operations at Lorraine Drive. One lane will remain open.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements on Various Roads in Davidson, Williamson, Sumner, Lawrence, and Maury Counties (L.M. 6.5)

  • Nightly, 8PM through 6AM, There will be a left lane closure on SR 386 in both directions at Johnny Cash Parkway for high friction surface treatment. One lane will remain open at all times.  

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 6 (US 31E) Beginning at JoAnn Street and Extending to Alexander Lane (L.M. 15.08 – 22.40)

  • Daily, 9AM through 3PM, There will be a temporary lane closure on SR 6 (US 31E) for milling operations. One lane will remain open.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing of SR 109 Beginning at I-840 and Extending to I-40 (L.M. 0.00 – 3.99)

  • Nightly, 7PM through 6AM, There will be a temporary lane closure on SR 109 for paving operations. One lane will remain open.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Installation of Signals on SR 26 at the Intersection of Bluebird Road/C.L. Manier Street and Signal Timing from SR24 to Tennessee Boulevard (L.M. 3.66 – 3.67)

  • Daily, 9AM through 3PM (excluding weekends), There will be alternating outside lane closures on C.L. Manier Street/Bluebird Road at the intersection of SR 26 (east Baddour Parkway) for drilling foundations and locating of road crossing conduit. One lane will remain open at all times.

DAVIDSON COUNTY

Friday, August 11, 8PM through Monday, August 14, 6AM, Metro Water will be closing lanes on Lebanon Pike at Donelson Pike this weekend. One lane of Lebanon Pike will remain open in each direction; however, traffic will not be able to turn onto Donelson Pike as it will be closed between Bluefield Avenue and Lebanon Road. Local traffic will be allowed access to this portion of Donelson Pike at Bluefield Avenue. Contact Metro Water for more information.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY

Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-24 westbound at I-65 northbound for paving over the Cumberland River. There will also be various lane closures on I-65 northbound coming from I-24 eastbound (near Fern Ave.). The right lane will remain open at all times.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY

Monday, August 14 through Friday, August 18, 8PM-5AM, There will be a left lane closure on I-24 in both directions for drain cleaning from MM 54-59 (Briley Parkway to Bell Rd).

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY

Thursday, August 10 and Wednesday, August 16, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 westbound for milling and paving work from MM 200 to 204 (White Bridge to Charlotte Pike). At least one lane will remain open at all times.

 

MACON COUNTY

Tuesday, August 15 and Wednesday, August 16, 10AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 52 eastbound for bridge inspection. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY

Daily, 9AM through 3PM, There will be various lane closures on SR 11 in both directions for slope mowing along the shoulder. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY

Daily, 9AM through 3PM, There will various lane closures on SR 96 in both directions for slope mowing along the shoulder. One lane will remain open at all times.
