DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from SR 6 to the I-40 Westbound Ramps and Bridge Rehab on I-24 Over Spring Street and Oldham Street (M.M. 47 – 48)

  • Nightly (excluding weekends), 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Spring Street for installation of demolition protection of the bents. One lane will remain open at all times.
  • Nightly (excluding weekends), 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 in both directions to perform removal of the median, installation of barrier rail & demolition preparation at the Spring Street bridge. One lane will remain open and only one direction will be closed at a time.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Retracing of Pavement Markings

  • Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be restriping activities at various locations in Davidson County including I-24, I-40, and I-65.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, The Miscellaneous Safety Improvements On I-24 In Davidson County

  • Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be a right lane closure on I-24 at Murfreesboro Rd. at MM 52 to hang signs. There will also be a lane shift on the ramp to perform miscellaneous item installations. The ramp will remain open to traffic.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing On SR 11(Dickerson Pike) From South Of SR 155 (Briley Pkwy) To SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) (L.M. 17.40-19.40)

  • Nightly starting Sunday, September 24, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 11 in both directions for milling & paving operations. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, The Miscellaneous Safety Improvements On I-40 & SR 251 (OHB) In Davidson County (L.M. 8.76-9.61)

  • Saturday, September 23, 6AM – Sunday, September 24, 6AM, There will be a left lane closure on Old Hickory Blvd at the intersection of I-40 in order to build a concrete island. At least one lane will remain open.
  • Daily, starting Sunday, September 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be a temporary lane closure on SR 251 at Sonya Drive and the I-40 off-ramp to install back plates. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 6 (U.S. 31E) from Gallatin Pike (L.M. 16.49) to SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd.) (L.M. 18.57)

  • Nightly, 6:30PM – 5:30AM (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 6 (Gallatin Pike) in both directions beginning at Briley Parkway & extending to SR 45 (Old Hickory Boulevard) for milling. One lane will remain open.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 65 (Whites Creek Pike) from W Trinity Lane to Green Lane to Lloyd Road

  • Daily, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 65 (Whites Creek Pike) in both directions for milling operations. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 65 over the Earthman Fork Creek near Old Hickory Boulevard/Fontanel Mansion (L.M. 6.02 – 6.08)

  • From now through November 2017, There will be a lane closure on SR 65 for bridge work. The bridge traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic signals.

 

DAVIDSON/WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing from The Williamson County Line to South of Armory Drive

  • Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 in both directions (including exit & entrance ramps) from the Williamson Co. line (M.M. 74) to South of Harding Place (M.M. 78) for paving and installation of signal loops operations. At least one lane will remain open in each direction. The exit & entrance ramps will be temporarily closed for approximately 2 hours at a time on the Harding Place ramps & Old Hickory Boulevard ramps. Signage will be in place.

 

HICKMAN COUNTY, Resurfacing of I-40 from Humphreys County Line to the Bridge Over Sugar Creek (M.M. 148 – 152)

  • Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be a temporary lane closure on I-40 westbound to perform paving and striping operations.  

 

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Resurfacing On SR 112 (Madison St.) From SR 374 (Richview Rd.) To University Avenue (L.M. 9.44-L.M. 13.66)

  • Sunday, September 24 through Wednesday, September 27, 6PM-6AM, There will be a temporary lane closure on SR 112 to perform milling and paving operations.

 

ROBERTSON COUNTY, The Widening of SR 11 (Memorial Blvd) at SR 65 (L.M. 9.28-9.49)

  • From now through September 2017, There will be lane closures on SR 11 at the intersection of SR 65 (Tom Austin Hwy) for paving operations.  Memorial Blvd will be reduced to three lanes, one through lane in each direction and a shared turn lane.  Motorists should expect delays.

 

ROBERTSON COUNTY, Resurfacing/Asphalt Repair of I-65 from the Sumner County Line to South of the Bridge over Honey Run Creek (M.M. 103.5 – 120)

  • Nightly (excluding weekends), 8PM-5AM, There will be a temporary lane closure on I-65 in both directions from MM 103 to MM 120 to perform milling and paving operations as well as full depth asphalt repair operations.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, The Resurfacing on SR 1 from Ken Pilkerton Drive (L.M. 6.42) to West of Florence Rd. (L.M. 9.82)

  • Nightly, 8PM-5AM,There will be alternating lane closures on SR 1 eastbound & westbound from Ken Pilkerton Drive to West of Florence Rd. for pavement marking operations. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of Turning Lanes on SR 96 at the I-24 Westbound Exit Ramp (Exit 78-B) (L.M. 9.52 – L.M. 9.68)

  • Daily, 9AM-3:30PM, There will be a lane and shoulder closure on SR 96 eastbound between I-24 and N. Thompson Lane as well as on the I-24 westbound exit ramp (78B) for grading operations in the median.

 

SMITH COUNTY, Rockfall Mitigation on SR 25 (L.M. 8.5)

SUMNER COUNTY, Construction of Retaining Walls on ST 109 from Odom’s Bend to the SR 109 Bypass of South of Gallatin (L.M. 0.5 – 1.65)

  • Daily, 9AM - 3PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 109 for blasting operations at Lorraine Drive. One lane will remain open.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing On SR 174 Beginning At SR 386 (L.M. 13.54) To East Of Walnut Crest Drive (L.M. 14.71)

  • Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 174 for milling operations. One lane will remain open.

           

SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 6 (US 31E) Beginning at JoAnn Street and Extending to Alexander Lane (L.M. 15.08 – 22.40)

  • Daily, 9AM - 3PM, There will be a temporary lane closure on SR 6 (US 31E) for milling operations. One lane will remain open.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing On SR 109 Beginning At SR 6 & Extending To Old Douglas Lane (L.M. 3.72-7.30)

  • Daily, 9AM - 3PM, There will be a temporary lane closure on SR 6 (US 31E) for milling operations. One lane will remain open.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing On SR 386 From The On-Ramp To Green Lea Blvd. (L.M. 12.07) To SR 174 (L.M. 12.66)

  • Daily, 9AM - 3PM, There will be a temporary lane closure on SR 386 for milling operations. One lane will remain open.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, The Miscellaneous Safety Improvements On Various Roads In Davidson, Williamson, Sumner, Lawrence, & Maury Counties.

  • Daily, 8PM-6AM, There will be a temporary lane closure on SR 252 at the intersections of Clovercroft Dr. and McEwen Dr. to install back plates. Flaggers will be utilized. One lane will remain open.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Grading, Drainage, & Paving Work On SR 6 (Franklin Road) From South Of Moores Lane (L.M. 15.93) To Concord Road (L.M. 18.53)

  • Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating temporary lane closures on SR 6 in both directions for the installation of changeable message boards, staking/flagging of limits, asbestos abatement, & start of clearing/grubbing. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing On SR 171 Beginning At I-40 (L.M. 4.84) & Extending To Division Street (L.M. 6.92)

  • Daily, 8PM-5AM, There will be a temporary lane closure on SR 171 for milling operations. One lane will remain open.

 

WILSON COUNTY, The Installation of Signals on SR 26 at The Intersection of Bluebird Road/C.L. Manier Street & Signal Timing from SR 24 to Tennessee Blvd. (L.M. 3.66-3.67)

  • Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating outside lane closures on C.L. Manier St./Bluebird Rd. at the intersection of SR 26 (East Baddour Pkwy) for drilling foundations & locating of road crossing conduit. One lane will remain open at all times.

DAVIDSON COUNTY

Friday, September 22, 8PM through Monday, September 25, 6AM, Donelson Pike at Lebanon Road will be closed to traffic to connect the new 36” water main to 60” water main for a Metro Water project. Lebanon Pike will remain open.

Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 westbound from MM 200-204 for milling & paving work. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be a left lane closure on I-40 in both directions at MM 196-226 for drain cleaning. At least one lane will remain open.

Nightly, 8PM-5AM, There will be various lane closures on I-440 in both directions for subsurface utility and geotechnical engineering investigations. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

HUMPHREYS COUNTY

Tuesday, September 26, 6PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 at MM 141 for milling and paving of the outside lane at the Buffalo River Bridge.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY

Sunday, September 24, 6AM-9AM, AT&T will need a rolling roadblock to overlash fiber across I-24 at Exit 70 Almaville  Rd.

Daily, 9AM-3PM, There will be a left lane closure on SR 10 southbound for miscellaneous operations at LM 1.6.

Wednesday, September 27, 10AM-2PM, There will be various lane closures on I-24 in both directions at MM 69 for taking concrete samples of four bridges: I-24 bridges over SR 102 & Bridge over Stewarts Creek (both directions). There will be two lanes open at all times.

 

WILSON COUNTY

Friday, September 22, 7PM-12AM and Saturday, September 23, 3PM-6AM, There will be a road closure on SR 452 for filming in front of the Nashville Speedway. There will be large barricades with blinker lights and police posted at every barricade area to ensure safety and detour traffic.

 

Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey reduced speed limits in all TDOT work zones, regardless of lane closure activity.  Information in this report is provided to the Department of Transportation by the contractors.  Most work is weather dependent and subject to change due to inclement weather.
